About the Event
Mikkel Bek Clausen is a Senior Associate Professor (R&D responsible) at University College Copenhagen and Associate Professor at Aalborg University. With a PhD from the University of Copenhagen, his work focuses on unraveling mechanisms of rehabilitation and translating them into improved clinical practice. Specializing in shoulder rehabilitation, Clausen has led large-scale studies, including nationwide surveys, cohort studies, and a randomized controlled trial, aimed at optimizing care for patients with severe and persistent symptoms. He currently leads multiple research projects and supervises PhD fellows within the area of musculoskeletal pain, shoulder disorders and exercise adherence.
